I was a bit surprised checking my email when I saw that Blizzard sent me a email asking me to come back to Azeroth with some free game time. I was a bit amused since its the first time I've ever gotten a email from Blizzard asking me to come back and check out all their latest game improvements.
Funny I never realized I had quit WoW as well for Blizzard to really care. I'm still a paying customer, at least I think i'm still subscribed monthly since i never remembered changing my account status. I had though about canceling my account, but had chosen to just keep it active in case one day i felt like logging in. Its been a while since i've even logged in to play WoW, i'm not sure when I will. Probably not much before Cataclysm i would guess since i now have time to do other things. But who can truly say when that time will be.
I don't really keep up much with the WoW game changes at the moment all that much nor have I really read and understand all the new class changes for Cataclysm. Hard to worry much when your not playing the game to care all that much. I do skim a few of the usual blogs here and there and read a few. But its nice to have Maintankadin forum to browse If i need to casually browse or get up to speed on things of my favorite class. So a bit aware Paladin class changes will be announced on the 16th and i guess i'm somewhat curious myself to hear about the changes.
At this point I do miss playing the game a bit, its hard not to. However it does feel good not to be playing at all for a while. Right now Blizz i'm electing to exercise my will power and stay away from Azeroth.
However hope all you all still enjoying the game at least. Thanks for still dropping by here as well.
