I Know You Really Want It!

Yeap gaze upon that thing with total envy, as I know you want it. You have enough reasons to really want it just and one reason would do. I won't blame ya, I would want it too. I got both a dual spec Paladin and a DK that can use that. That weapon is AWESOME!

Quest for Shadowmourne the Legendary is only available in 25 man Icecrown Citadel raid and you also have to kill the Lick King to get it forged at the end of the quest chain. Good Luck on that Epic Journey! That sure cuts out the amount of people that will ever see that including myself since its a 25 man raid as well and i'm only likely if ever to see Icecrown in 10's.

If you want one good reason to 25 man raid Icecrown Citadel in patch 3.3, right there gazing upon that weapon is one good reason to slave away for quite sometime to try and wrap your hands around.

People will really mourne in envy you when they see you with it. What will you do to get your hands wrapped around your legendary? You know you want it right?

What would I do, hmmmm. If Zan my old fun ex Warrior buddy and former GM restarts playing WoW again and reforms the old guild back to 25 man's just a possibility I'll move servers and rejoin him. Just day dreaming, but thats what I would do. Doubt that will ever happen.

Blood Sport Reward

Picked this up in the Blood Ring in Nagrand. Its a nice mace for a Healer or a Holy Paladin starting around 66 or so on way to 70. Equipped it looks very cool with a very nice glow. I just tucked it in the bank.

How do you get it? Defeat all the mobs in the Blood Ring in Nagrand, just take the quest form the quest giver right by the ring, you'll know its got blood all around inside of it. The last Boss is Morgor - Hero of the Warmauls you'll face. Defeat him and then Defeat him again after he rezz back to life moments later and you can get this among the quest reward and a nice chunk of gold. Nice to have a good group of 5 or best to do the quest when everyone else is gathered to do the quest at the Blood Ring. That way you get more DPS for the fights and everyone else to help you out to win the matches.

Gearing Up Continues - Cross Faction Trading

Sometimes you just can't find what you want or looking for (Bracers of the Green Fortress) from your own Faction Trading and you just may not have any choice and have to resort to creating a new character on the other faction side of server to see if you can find on AH or find someone that create what you may need. If your so lucky to find what you need, then getting the item re-listed by the seller on one of the 2 Neutral Faction Auction House. That allows you after re-listing of the item to immediately purchase the item back on the other faction by your main character. Trading With The Enemy I Guess.
Well wasn't thinking of finding this Crystalforged Sword which is on my eminent list of items to obtain for my Paladin and it has never been seen on Horde faction side of server since I've been there. This is a prime Paladin Sword and a great one for me gearing up. A damn good find. Note: Helps to have some gold balance on hand at all times, you never know what your going to find and when and may need to buy it, like right NOW. Anyway my new level 2 toon hopped to Stormwind first time ever and found this on the Alliance AH and fortunately the seller was on line. /w him and asked him if he can nicely re-list it on the Neutral Auction House, he quickly did so at same price + the added charge to use the Neutral Auction House and I obtained it for Galo at 195 gold within 30 mins. I call that an Investment in Galo!

After more than a entire week of looking on AH, asking in Trade if any Blacksmith can make haven't been able to find any Blacksmith on Horde side of server that can make Bracers of the Green Fortress. Frustrating it has been. Also since Primal Nether a item needed to craft these are BoP and I'm not a Blacksmith you just have no choice but to almost buy the crafted item minus maybe the Primal Life needed and the Hardened Adamantite. Well no luck on Horde side as no one can craft these it seems. So on Alliance side found 2 Blacksmith that can craft these but none had the mats on hand or would take a week maybe. So checking AH say these these sitting on AH for 599 gold. So sent a email to the crafter and seller that I needed to buy these and if he or she can re-list them on the Neutral Auction House and if they did to let me know so I can promptly buy them. Well they are now mine for 599 gold ( 2nd Epic piece) as part of my tanking gear piece set to be uncrushable at 490 defense.

So after adding a little balance of gold from doing several quests in Nagrand and Tanking in the Blood Ring to beat all the Bosses in the Ring over the weekend. Selling tons of Alchemy Potions quite a bit actually. Gold was up about 900 gold, which was GREAT In building back up my gold reserve. I'm now again just about BROKE with about 55 gold or so. This seems to be common running theme.

For now I can't afford to enchant the CrystalForge Sword as yet, need to go questing. Need 6 more Prismatic Shards which average about 14-25g at any given moment. Enchants aren't cheap. Need lot more defense still and think will enchant bracers with Enchant: Major Defense to enchant the Bracers. So will be off to quest again to repeat this constant cycle or making gold and going broke over and over again. I wonder ...... I'll never earn that super fast Epic Flying Mount this way at 5000 gold needed. WotLK might be here before I get the mount with gear cost, enchants, instances. Still need to think about this.

Paladins as Hybrids really do have to juggle all kinds of stats depending on role one decides to play or focus on. Few days ago at one point in my armor gear i remember having almost 7000 mana pool and with just the gear equipped almost 190 Spell Damage from gear and if i popped the trinket another 12o Spell Damage for 15 sec. Great to burn down a mob. However as I add more defense to Galo, I'm constantly giving up as a trade off Intelligence stats (Also affects Spell Crits) mana & mp5. So less of a mana pool for tanking set. Our gear determine our role and often you give up many thing you do need just to get certain important stats. However more stamina is good though.

*It can be a good thing if your a crafter that can craft Epics, High level Blues or Rare items of TBC to list your self in your realm list of High Level Crafters on your Realm Forum. Every realm had a forum thread for High Level Crafters so you can search to find know who can craft such a item as long as its updated.

An Epic Tankadin Blade?

I saw this Sword just browsing through the WoW Armory, couldn't grab a image of it. It a drop from Archimonde at Mt Hyjal. Its also listed as the T5 Warlocks Weapon Sword. Its funny the crap you can read over at Thottbot sometimes in comments. The Spell Damage alone and threat you can generate from this sword at 1.8sec speed/ Reckoning and SOR would send you off the charts with Holy damage and threat. How can you tell me that this is not a Epic Phat Sword for a Tanking Protection Paladin IF one of us could get our hands on it?

Tempest of Chaos
Binds when picked up
Unique
Main HandSword
16-132 DmgSpeed 1.80
(41.0 damage per second)
+30 Stamina
+22 Intellect
Durability: 105 / 105
Requires Level 70
Equip: Improves spell hit rating by 17.
Equip: Improves spell critical strike rating by 24.
Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 259.

It might take the next expansion for me to even get a skin of a chance to get a hand grip on this sword in some kind of raid at lvl 80 maybe. Dreaming maybe.

Early Morning AH Shopping.

A bit early in the morning doing all the previous posts. Logged in checked on mailbox, a few things sold, some potions & elixirs (pots). I really don't have much elixirs i'm making for sale right now. Actually i really can't be bothered that much to make as much pots as i usually do on AH. I've put off making much pots for a while till when i get to Outland maybe. Herb pricing on Rexxar is crazy!! My bank is fine and i don't need to make that much gold right now. Right now i'm in more of questing mode.

Making pots take up a lot of my time and can really sink some time into making pots when i'm doing it and seeing what needs to be supplied to the AH market and keeping my note pad filled with notes and speculating on high end stuff. For now the market has to do without me pumping out tons of pots. Usually at any one time i can have as much as 150 pots up on AH, every single day sometimes 200. Thats a huge amount of pots. If you wondering i know what pots to make and i'm not telling for competitive reasons, people are reading this. As a result the market for pots has seem to be gone a bit crazy also with prices all over the map. I have a structured pricing scheme and i have my pots in teir pricing groups. for competetive reasons i will not explain how i do this. I don't use any addon's or anything like that to tell me prices, i use good old Economics 101, and always double my profit at minimum.

I run Alchemy like a all out business enterprise and it has served me well. The one pots i never make to sell is healing and mana pots, the profit margin is thinner than a photon of light. Not worth my herbs to make for sale, only for personal consumption use. In real life i also have a small business so this comes into play in dynamics of thinking.

Picked up a much needed new Blue Shield upgrade, a bit of a improvement and with more block rating which is good and stats, i need to get it immediately shield spiked. I would prefer thorium but its a bit expensive for that one. At higher levels the best i hear you can get is a "Fel Shield Spike" i think. Picked up a Elixir of Major Frost Power, this pot has potential, its why i paid good gold for it and i can see easily recouping profit on this one. It pumps up mages frost spell power many folds. I have a bid on a Elixir of Major Dream Vision. This stuff is great for Pally's due to its 12 sec suspended time in Devine Shield but have to know how to use it in a 12 sec bubble to regen mana and health in a dream state. Sells so so because most people not know how to use it. Finding rare recipes for pots right now a down right rare finds unless doing lots of dungeon instances to get them on rare drops.

As alchemist progress up in the 300+ lvls you stand a chance of learning whats called a "Discovery". Happens randomly when making pots of high level caliber and BAM! you learn a super rare alchemy Flask recipe, something like that. I have yet to learn a "Discovery" its random and unpredictable. I can conservatively say I've made over 2500 pots already, no discovery yet. And that's not for just leveling up alchemy, thats cranking up the alchemy machine and supplying all of Rexxar with pots and elixirs. That's how you spend hours in a time sink standing at AH, buying hundreds if vails, making pots and tracking the market for supply and demand with a bank vault cranked full of all kind of herbs in 20 slot stacks. I have Herbalism so often pic them myself, cleaper and better profit. Like i said i run Alchemy like a pharmaceutical company to keep Rexxar server pumped up and happy or all the twinks happy and the raiders. I'm not the only Alch around on my server, plenty out there. I just take Alch business seriously.

My major investments as a whole is basically finding rare recipes & a good shield always. This is where the saying comes from.. it takes money to make money. Well, it helps to have a bit in the first place sitting on it for a good investment or speculation. So far my Mercurial Stone hasn't sold to a Jewelcrafter at high level as yet. I keep it up eventually someone has to bite and buy. Chest and legging armor pieces those i don't skimp on when it looks good. Finding good armor for me right now is a total problem, i can't get good Intelligence plate armor, so i'm more spec like a total warrior in plate. Mana burn is something i do with efficiency and not waste in fights so i keep it buffed up with Alch pots for high intelligence stats when i need it.

A super fast 1H with good stats and a solid 2H hitter and a medium offensive weapon are all frequently on my list. I picked a new level 51 Blue medium speed polearm at 2.8 speed. Good with Crusader and SOR. Other than that I'm conservative on any investment. Have to thank Peter over at Peter's Blog, for the Hanzo Sword tip. This weapon is a killing machine for a protection pally with the recking bomb from renocking, i can't speak for other classes using it. I'm working on getting it enchanted with crusader. I rarely use weapons enchants, they are a money sinker for weapons unless at high level where you tend to keep epic weapons longer maybe till next upgrade.

Soloing Tanaris

Took the trip to Tanaris to do some quests i had Q'd up as haven't been back to tanaris in a while. I like been here its great place for a person who likes to Solo. Did two quests real quick as have to head to RL work in a short while. Its working weekend.

Did the quest for the Wastewander had to kill 3 sets of mobs on the plain a mix of rouges and shadow mages and such & got Caliph's head as i found him in the area also. Did it easy first testing them out protection style and using shadow protection aura. Was doing fine, just taking a while, so easy switch in mid fight to high damage 1H using both the big Axe and Sword alternating each in a fight easily. That's my trade mark as a pally (Paladin) i can use both 1H weapons and 2H weapons interchangibly in a fight depends on situation and mobs around me. However i think for me i'm a versatile warrior in that i'm the only person i know that carry all weapons as a pally can use at all times that been 8 weapons (1H & 2H both Axe, Mace, Sword and Polearm) and a spiked shield. Some people think i'm nuts but then again i don't die that often either. The 1H weapons are my always starter weapon and always make sure its a very fast weapon to proc with Renocking been Protection spec for return damage and extra swings meaning more damage in shorter amount of time. I always make sure i have the very best shield and spike it to reduce damage to self. Killed everything easily oon the plain. Always kill the spell caster first in a fight with a clothy it saves you the health drain from mystic magic, the physical damage i can take easily in a fight. So completed 2 quests and futher inch ever closser to lvl 48.
