Blood Sport Reward

Picked this up in the Blood Ring in Nagrand. Its a nice mace for a Healer or a Holy Paladin starting around 66 or so on way to 70. Equipped it looks very cool with a very nice glow. I just tucked it in the bank.

How do you get it? Defeat all the mobs in the Blood Ring in Nagrand, just take the quest form the quest giver right by the ring, you'll know its got blood all around inside of it. The last Boss is Morgor - Hero of the Warmauls you'll face. Defeat him and then Defeat him again after he rezz back to life moments later and you can get this among the quest reward and a nice chunk of gold. Nice to have a good group of 5 or best to do the quest when everyone else is gathered to do the quest at the Blood Ring. That way you get more DPS for the fights and everyone else to help you out to win the matches.

If you're not gonna use it actively till 70, you may pick a different reward if needed. You should be able to pick an Essence Focuser (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31304) for relatively cheap at the AH for level 70 stuff, which is pretty much the best healing mace until you run heroics or grab an arena reward.

Had that in my banks for a while until I got an Essence Focusser whilst doing some quests with friends.

The Essence Focusser did me until I got Sha'tar exalted (for the shield) and picked up the Healing Mace.

Still it's the best choice from the Ring of Blood chain for a protadin.

The Essence Focuser has no STA.

The + to healing is pointless to have for a protection spec paladin.

I love the comments because everyone has a different take on what's good, better or best. That's how you learn stuff you may not know.

I've seen the Essence Focuser in AH on my realm 40-60g at least daily and based on Auctioneer it seems to be a fairly common drop wherever it drops from. Nice healing but has no stats, but nice mace.

The Mogor's Club is a nice Quest reward on way to 70 anyone that can use it can get and fairly easy to get. At least you don't have to buy it in gold, just some time.

All Galo's healing gear goes in the bank as a 3rd set, yet I'm not sure if I will ever use them. Hitting things is my style so DPS or Tanking gear. However I'll just bank the healing gear for who knows if and when I pick them up.
